Mardi Gras Conference 2008 Posters
The 15th Mardi Gras Conference, to be held between January 30th -
February 2nd , 2008 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, invites researchers for
submissions to its poster session.
The poster session will offer an excellent opportunity for
researchers to present their new, speculative or evolving ideas, which
may not be ready for full publication, to a broader community. The forum
will provide an informal and interactive setting where researchers can
connect, create collaboration and stimulate alternative research
questions. Student submissions are particularly welcomed.
The theme of this year's conference is: from lightweight mash-ups to
lambda grids: understanding the spectrum of distributed computing
requirements, applications, tools, infrastructures, interoperability,
and the incremental adoption of key capabilities. For a complete list of
topics of interest, please see the call for papers for Mardi Gras
Conference 2008 at
http://www.mardigrasconference.org/callforpapers.php.
Submission
Please submit a 1-page proposal that clearly describes your research
motivation, contribution, and the results you wish to present in your
poster. All poster proposals will be peer-reviewed. (Submission of a
poster proposal implies that at least one author will register for and
attend the conference if the poster is accepted.) Poster proposals
should be submitted to Tevfik Kosar <kosar(at)cct.lsu.edu>.

The 1-page proposals associated with accepted proposals will be
placed in the conference proceedings, which will be archived by ACM in
their Digital Library after the conference.
