Excursion to New Orleans Mardi Gras--See the Endymion Parade

Directly following the Computational and Materials Conference program, participates will take a trip to the famous New Orleans Mardi Gras via charter bus. The bus will depart from the Cook Conference Center on Saturday, February 13th at 1:00 p.m., and will deliver participants to the streets of downtown New Orleans to view the largest and most successful Carnival Parade in the history of New Orleans--The Endymion Parade.

Following the parade, participants can enjoy the rest of the evening on their own in the downtown area French Quarter. Enjoy the music, the festivities, the food, and the shopping.

The bus will load for the return trip to Baton Rouge at 11:00 p.m. The bus restroom facilities will be available throughout the evening.

The conference excursion is included in your conference registration, but you must register. Seating is limited.
